Yep, it sure looks like Chicago as I remember it! I have some photos of relatives trying to dig out on one of the days when the city actually did have to shut down.
I have been thinking about your weather. We got about 5 inches in St.Louis. It is amazing how they get the roads cleared off immediately. Chris and I said if we were in Memphis, we would have been homebound for 3 days. Miss You. Love, Ashley
Trey: I sure hope you are kidding! And if not, I think I’ll be prone to kicking a chair or two over.
Rachel: Wow, that is very odd. And a little scary.
Ashley: Thanks for breaking the 8:33 trend. That was starting to freak me out. Yes, Memphis would have certainly been shut down for days after the snowfall we got.
yes. if you have more than 1/100th of an inch of snow on the ground, we consider that a snow day. note that if there is a call for a “wintry mix” or the like, you must rush to the grocery store, buy fritos, milk, beer, cigarettes, and batteries. you never know how long you will be holed up for!

Judy: I’d rather not see that day.
